Evaluation of the effi cacy of rebamipide in functional dyspepsia and irritable bowel syndrome treatment

Purpose: to evaluate the efficacy and safety of use rebamipide (Rebamipide-SZ, Severnaya Zvezda NAO) during 8-week therapy in patients with functional dyspepsia (FD) and/or irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). Materials methods: 60 both sexes aged 18 40 years confirmed FD IBS were examined. All received basic for gastrointestinal disease. Patients main group additionally prescribed 100 mg 3 times a day. tested according 7x7 questionnaire assess severity symptoms; anxiety depression symptoms was assessed Hospital Anxiety Depression Scale (HADS); level zonulin blood determined by ELISA method at baseline after 8 weeks therapy. Results: patients, taking led more pronounced decrease average score on scales questionnaire, such as feeling full (0 [0; 0] points vs 1 [1; 1] points, p=0.000), early satiety 0.5 p=0.005), bloating 2] 2 [2; p=0.001). Only showed significant levels subgroup (Δ%= -49%) FD+IBS -20.85%). Conclusions: dose day part and/ord leads statistically improvement clinical condition serum.
